[Hiring] Manager - Field Sales and Services @Mayo Clinic

Role Description

In alignment and collaboration with MCL, LLC Operations, MML Sales and Product Management, the FSSM has accountability for servicing the needs of our existing client base, assisting in the generation of new business revenue by effectively promoting and educating Field Staff on both new and existing testing offerings, establishing and retaining long-term business relationships, collaborating with Sales Management to develop specific territory strategies, provide Sales and Business Training requirements, and support Field Directors in activities, account retention, and growth. While doing so, must also promote Mayo Clinic's core values and support community-based health care and integrated delivery systems.

This individual will also take on the following responsibilities:

• Liaison
  • Act as a liaison to Sales and Operations
  • Provide Operational Updates to the Field Staff
  • Drive sales concerns along with the Director of Sales
    • Gather client/field staff concerns and communicate to MML to drive initiatives
    • Provide feedback to the team and Director of Sales
    • Sit in on Operational Meetings to ensure the field is informed
    • Track issues
    • Communicate outcomes
• Leased Vehicle
  • Yearly Evaluation of vehicle choices
  • Order vehicles for new staff
  • Track Donlen information
  • Track Field Vehicles
  • Order replacement vehicles when needed
• Vendor Registration
  • Provide updates to the field
  • Develop ease of use plan per vendor
  • Create corporate contracts
  • Evaluate need for corporate contracts
• Metrics
  • Pull and provide Sales metrics to the Director of Sales and Field Directors
  • Monitor CRM usage
  • Create CRM reports for Field staff
• Communication
  • Provide bi-weekly updates to the Field Staff
  • Communicate across regions or "ologies"
  • Work with FSS Core to communicate across all field sales teams
• On Boarding and training for new field staff

This position will administer and optimize designated sales enablement tools, including managing user access, configurations, vendor relationships, documentation, user support, adoption, and ongoing enhancements. The Sales Operations Manager will also lead and support cross-functional projects by developing project plans, coordinating stakeholders, tracking milestones and deliverables, managing risks, and communicating progress. The role will partner across Sales, Marketing, Training, IT, and other functions to improve processes, support change adoption, and ensure sales operations initiatives achieve their intended business outcomes.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship/we will not sponsor or transfer a visa for this position. Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F1 STEM OPT extension program.

This position requires a 2-year commitment to the role before becoming eligible to transfer to other positions within Mayo Clinic.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree is the minimum requirement, preferably in business, management or the life sciences.
• Five years' experience working in a customer service or sales support environment required.
• Must have excellent human relations, management, and communications skills.
• Must be accountable, adaptable, flexible, creative, dependable, responsible, and able to perform well within internal and external multi-functional environments.
• Ability to develop strategic plans and manage several people, projects or tasks simultaneously and to exercise appropriate judgment when developing, deploying and/or overseeing plans, projects and tasks.
• Demonstrated managerial, decision-making and problem-solving ability and oversight of self and others.
• 3-5 years direct work unit experience preferred, from within applicable MCL, LLC Service Line.
• Advanced degree and business/supervisory experience preferred.
