Role Description

Our client is looking for a motivated and ambitious individual to join their team as an IT Sales Account Manager. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in technology sales, with structured training and opportunities for progression.

You will develop your sales skills through:

• Outbound prospecting
• Qualifying leads
• Booking meetings
• Preparing quotes
• Building towards managing customer accounts

This role is suited to someone who is eager to learn, confident communicating with people, and motivated by targets and earning potential.

Type: Permanent, full-time

Working hours: UK hours, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound phone and email outreach to identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities.
• Qualify leads and assess potential customers' needs.
• Book meetings and support the sales process.
• Prepare and send quotes to prospective customers.
• Develop relationships with customers and work towards managing accounts independently.
• Use CRM systems and Microsoft 365 to support sales activities.
• Work towards sales targets, building a healthy pipeline and closing deals.
• Learn from sales leadership through training, coaching, and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• A recent graduate or someone with 0–2 years of experience in sales, telesales, sales development, or customer service.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Confidence communicating over the phone and through email.
• Resilience and a willingness to work towards sales targets.
• A genuine interest in technology and a desire to build a career in sales.
• A proactive, motivated, and coachable attitude.
• A willingness to learn, take feedback on board, and develop new skills.
