Role Description

ASSIST Business Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a client seeking a motivated and professional Insurance Agent to join their team as a Remote Independent Contractor. The Insurance Agent will be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining relationships with prospective and existing clients
• Identifying client needs and recommending appropriate insurance solutions
• Educating clients on insurance products, coverage options, and benefits
• Generating business through networking, referrals, outreach, and relationship development
• Conducting virtual consultations and presentations
• Assisting clients throughout the application and enrollment process
• Maintaining an organized pipeline of prospects and clients
• Providing professional follow-up and ongoing client support
• Maintaining accurate client records and documentation
• Participating in training and professional development
• Meeting established sales and production objectives
• Maintaining compliance with applicable insurance regulations and company policies

Qualifications

• Willingness and ability to obtain the required insurance license within 4 to 6 weeks
• Existing insurance license is preferred but not required
• Previous insurance, sales, financial services, or customer service experience is a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Professional, personable, and client-focused
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Strong relationship building and networking skills
• Comfortable with sales, prospecting, and business development
• Excellent organization and follow-through
• Ability to manage your own schedule and workload
• Comfortable working in a fully remote environment
• Reliable internet connection and computer access

Compensation & Work Structure

• Earnings are based on successful production and the client's established commission structure. There is no guaranteed salary or hourly wage.
