Role Description
As an Institutional Account Manager at Verrica, you will manage sales and business relation activities in the hospital sector across multi states, develop strategies to achieve sales objectives, and foster relationships with key accounts (C-Suite, System leadership and HCPs). Customer segments include but are not limited to: IDNs, hospitals and hospital systems with a focus on Dermatology and Pediatrics.
The Institutional Account Manager (IAM) will be responsible for:

Calling on Institutions as identified by the Regional Sales Director to secure access and availability of YCANTH and any other company products in both the clinical and faculty setting as required by the institution.

Securing pharmacy purchasing and distribution where required by Hospital.

Developing KOLs and key HCPs.

Working collaboratively with field sales and other cross-functional partners as necessary.

Covering several states and between 10-14 institutions.

Assisting or performing other duties within the Company as directed, from time to time.
The IAM will be required to live within the assigned geography - East Coast US, must reside near a major airport between Southern New Jersey to Georgia.
Qualifications

Bachelorโs Degree required, ideally in Business or Health Science related fields.

Substantial and relevant sales experience in the life sciences/biopharmaceutical space.

Successful and demonstrated experience working within institutions.

Dermatology experience preferred.

High agility in working in a fast-paced start-up environment and the ability to adapt to business challenges as they arise.

Demonstrated successful execution in Medical Dermatology.

High competency in strategic planning and execution.

Proven experience developing key customers and segments of business.

Ability to understand clinical information, the medical legal process, and develop effective campaigns that are compliant with all regulatory requirements.

Strong communication and influence skills, with the ability to inspire confidence and work successfully with internal and external stakeholders.
