[Hiring] Inside Sales Specialist - Veterinary Imaging @IDEXX

Role Description

As a Veterinary Imaging Consultant (VIC) for the Diagnostic Imaging and Telemedicine Center of Excellence, you will be responsible for closing business within our Web PACS, Telemedicine and CardioPet portfolio of products. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Completing demonstrations for customers within Web PACS and VetMedStat.
• Managing customer questions and objections in response to your demos.
• Closing business with loyal and competitive customers within a geographical territory.
• Handling objections and maintaining a robust pipeline of follow-up appointments.

This role is critical in helping veterinary practices adopt advanced diagnostic imaging and telemedicine solutions that improve clinical decision-making and patient care.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Managing a sales pipeline and making phone calls to customers to close new accounts for Web PACS, Telemedicine, and CardioPET.
• Providing product demonstrations via webinar for prospective customers.
• Consistently maintaining an accurate sales forecast.
• Maintaining Salesforce with accurate customer notes and opportunity information.
• Probing for and addressing competitive activity.
• Coordinating sales opportunities that span multiple IDEXX products involving multiple IDEXX sales representatives.
• Working both independently and as part of a team.
• Attending industry shows in territory as necessary.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of sales experience with demonstrated history of closing; Veterinary Industry experience a plus.
• Ability to negotiate and close sales with a consultative selling approach.
• Capability to absorb and articulate technical information.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to establish rapport quickly.
• Highly motivated and goal-oriented.
• Computer proficiency (Salesforce, Microsoft Office: Teams, Excel, Word, and Outlook).
