Role Description

Leidos seeks an Industrial Energy Advisor to both market and support energy-efficiency programs that promote energy efficiency projects at large industrial facilities near Milwaukee, Wisconsin. • Identify efficiency opportunities
• Calculate energy savings
• Maintain customer relationships
• Deliver presentations
• Work closely with facility managers, facility and manufacturing engineers, contractors, suppliers, and energy engineers
• Encourage energy efficiency practices in facilities

The successful candidate should have basic general knowledge of building systems, industrial systems, construction practices, and/or the energy efficiency industry. They must be highly motivated, well organized, self-starting, have strong written and verbal communication skills, and work well in a team setting. Candidates will need to have a home office to conduct work.

Qualifications

• Utilize initiative to develop relationships with customers and vendors
• Keep up to date and demonstrate knowledge of energy efficiency technologies and practices in demand-side management
• Demonstrate productivity, accuracy, organization, and effective communication in performance of work

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Physical ability to perform field verification of pre and post-installation of energy efficiency measures
• Four-year technical degree (an engineering degree is preferred)
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience with industrial manufacturing environments and energy management
• Excellent written and verbal communications

Benefits

• Pay Range: $92,300.00 - $166,850.00
• Factors considered in extending an offer include responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities
• Internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law
