[Hiring] Head of Customer Activation @Sandvik Coromant

Role Description

As Head of Customer Activation, you lead a global function that is evolving from a traditional marketing-oriented role into a commercially focused platform for customer acquisition, engagement and revenue growth. A central part of your mission is to strengthen how we meet, inspire and develop customers through our global network of Sandvik Coromant Centers, Tech Days customer events and Sandvik Coromant Academy learning offerings. Together, these platforms play an important role in turning technical expertise into stronger customer relationships, new business opportunities and measurable commercial impact.

This is a role with significant transformation responsibility. You continue the journey of redefining how Customer Activation creates value, turning technical knowledge, customer interactions and learning experiences into stronger customer pipelines and measurable sales outcomes. You also ensure that technical product information is accurate, accessible and presented in ways that help customers understand the value of our solutions.

• Driving activity and customer engagement through Sandvik Coromant Centers globally.
• Developing and expanding Tech Days as a customer acquisition and engagement platform.
• Transforming Sandvik Coromant Academy and training offerings toward a more commercial, revenue-generating model.
• Making technical content relevant, engaging and attractive to customers.
• Leading a global team and collaborating across markets, functions and senior stakeholders.

You report to the Vice President of Global Sales. The location is flexible globally, with international travel as a natural part of the role.

Qualifications

• Deep technical credibility in manufacturing, CNC, metal cutting or a related industrial environment.
• Strong commercial mindset.
• Experience from industrial B2B sales, product management, technical leadership, customer-facing roles or industrial training organizations.
• University degree in a relevant field.

• Ability to lead change across cultures, functions and stakeholder groups.
• Clear and confident communication skills.
• Ability to present technical content in an engaging way.
• Strong collaboration with both technical and commercial teams.
• Practical, hands-on approach to customer activation.
