[Hiring] Head of APAC, Leisure Travel / OTAs @Travelfusion Ltd.

Role Description

An experienced industry professional to grow and develop Travelfusion’s leisure /OTA market share in the APAC region. The position will report to the Global Head of Leisure Travel based in London.

What you’ll be doing

• Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with existing and prospective OTAs in APAC by building rapport, understanding client needs, and consistently meeting revenue targets.
• Strategic Sales Identification: Leverage in depth local market knowledge and research to identify and actively pursue new opportunities across the APAC travel industry.
• Business Development: Systematically expand relationships with target companies that offer significant growth potential for the organization.
• Strategy Development: Design and implement effective sales strategies, including marketing campaigns and innovative sales approaches, to achieve measurable results.
• Industry Representation: Represent Travelfusion at major APAC trade shows and events, promoting our services while networking and staying up to date with current industry trends.
• Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver impactful sales presentations tailored to diverse client needs.
• Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations and close deals, securing contracts that contribute directly to sustained revenue growth.
• Reporting and Forecasting: Provide regular sales reports and accurate forecasts through performance tracking and data analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operational execution.
• Leadership and Management: Grow, train, develop, manage and lead a small team of experienced Business Development Managers motivating them to excel and succeed.
• Team Development: Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and training sessions to elevate individual and team capabilities.
• Performance Management: Set clear KPIs and monitor the sales pipeline to ensure revenue targets and quotas are consistently achieved.

Qualifications

• Market Expertise: In-depth knowledge of APAC region OTAs, travel agents, and the broader travel ecosystem.
• Leadership Experience: Proven experience leading and developing a team.
• Professional Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Sales Performance: A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with the ability to drive sales both independently and collaboratively.
• Results Orientation: Highly results-driven professional.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM tools such as Zoho.
• Logistics & Availability: Singapore-based, you’ll be prepared to undertake business travel to meet with clients.
