[Hiring] Global Head of Growth @Barkyn

Role Description

We’re hiring a Head of Growth – Retail to lead our expansion into mass retail and specialty pet channels across Europe.

• Own and execute Barkyn’s offline retail growth strategy
• Lead expansion into mass market and specialty pet retail across Europe
• Manage relationships with category managers and key buyers
• Build retail playbooks for listing, activation, and performance
• Define pricing, promotion, and go-to-market tactics per geography
• Work cross-functionally with ops, marketing, product, and finance to align execution

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in retail and offline sales
• Experience scaling a pet brand in retail, from launch to multi-million revenue
• Deep knowledge of mass market and specialized pet retail channels
• Existing relationships or direct experience with category managers
• Successfully operated in at least two European geographies
• Strong negotiation, retail activation, and margin management skills

Requirements

• Multi-country go-to-market experience (Bonus)
• Experience launching retail from a D2C base (Bonus)
• Familiarity with supply chain and retail operations tooling (Bonus)
