[Hiring] German-Speaking Tour Sales Consultant @Wild Dreams

Role Description

An established African safari tour operator, known for crafting personalised itineraries across the continent's top destinations, is seeking a GERMAN-SPEAKING TOUR SALES CONSULTANT to manage their German client base. This is a home-based, remote role for someone who combines strong sales instincts with genuine destination knowledge. You'll be the main point of contact for German clients from first enquiry through to post-trip feedback, so fluency and a consultative sales approach both matter here.

Qualifications

• Excellent command of German, written and verbal, alongside strong English communication skills
• Minimum 2 years' experience in the travel industry, ideally in tour consulting or hotel operations
• Proven track record selling Southern African tours (South Africa, Botswana and Namibia)
• Diploma or degree in hospitality or a related field advantageous
• Comfortable managing multiple client requests and bookings simultaneously
• Flexible, adaptable, and willing to work varied hours when needed
• Based in or with knowledge of at least two of the three core selling destinations

Requirements

• Manage client inquiries, bookings and payments across WhatsApp, email and calls, keeping response times fast
• Prepare detailed itineraries that reflect each client's specific requests and services
• Generate accurate invoices for confirmed bookings and follow up on outstanding payments
• Collect post-safari feedback consistently and resolve any concerns that arise
• Communicate booking or itinerary changes clearly, both before and during trips
• Resolve issues proactively to maintain a smooth client experience throughout
• Contribute to weekly and monthly sales targets
