Role Description
As General Sales Manager, you will have overall responsibility for delivering volume and margin targets across the LVS portfolio, leading both Field Sales and Telesales/Retention teams while developing key strategic relationships within Lombard and NatWest Group.
You will be the senior representative across regional and executive-level stakeholder groups, helping shape commercial strategy, drive growth initiatives, and ensure the long-term success of this important partnership.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and deliver volume, revenue and margin targets across the LVS sales operation.

Manage, coach and develop the Field Sales team and provide leadership oversight of the Telesales & Retention function.

Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Lombard and NatWest Group.

Develop and execute strategic growth plans aligned to business objectives.

Drive customer acquisition, retention and portfolio growth across SME, Corporate and Retail sectors.

Lead quarterly strategy and performance reviews with Regional Managing Directors and senior stakeholders.

Support the development and delivery of marketing campaigns, special offers and commercial initiatives.

Attend and present at senior leadership meetings, steering committees and industry events.

Oversee commercial approvals and support complex, high-value deal structures.

Ensure effective pipeline management, forecasting and reporting through Salesforce.

Recruit, motivate, develop and retain high-performing sales professionals.
Qualifications

Significant sales leadership experience.

Strong knowledge of Contract Hire and Fleet Management.

Experience managing managers and leading multi-layered sales teams.

Proven track record of delivering revenue and profit growth.
