[Hiring] Founding Sales @Mastra

Role Description

Mastra is looking for a founding Account Executive (AE) to join our growing team. This is the second dedicated sales hire at Mastra, and you'll start day 1 with a warm pipeline. Your job is to run the motion hard, then make it better.

• Full-cycle, mid-market sales focused on Series A–C companies with regulatory or infrastructure constraints.
• Engage with engineering leaders, earn their trust, and close deals.
• Sell Mastra's open-source TypeScript-native framework and platform for building AI agents.

What you'll be selling:

• Platform (Enterprise) : Studio, Server, and infrastructure teams use to develop, run, debug, observe, and scale agents in production.
• Agent Builder : Build and edit agents without touching code, targeting non-technical buyers.
• Concierge : Embedded Mastra engineers shipping alongside the customer's team with direct access and SLAs.

Every week at Mastra is a launch week. The product is constantly evolving, and you need to be energized by this environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in dev tools, OSS, infrastructure, or AI sales is a strong plus.
• Ability to understand open-source developer frameworks and communicate effectively with technical teams.
• Comfort with ambiguity and constant change is non-negotiable.
• Willingness to sell $5K-$10K deals to highly enthusiastic users.
• Former founders or those with a founder mentality are preferred.

• Strong drive and customer obsession.
• Willingness to work closer to a 60-hour week than a 40-hour week.
