Role Description

Build and own the enterprise sales motion for an early-stage AI platform company serving the insurance sector. As a founding sales team member, you will shape the go-to-market playbook and help bring a technical product to large enterprise customers.

• Build and manage your pipeline end to end, including outbound prospecting, discovery, product demonstrations, and closing enterprise deals.
• Develop the sales playbook and processes as the company scales its go-to-market motion.
• Manage the full sales lifecycle in partnership with company leadership, from first conversation through close.
• Identify opportunities to expand customer relationships and product adoption.
• Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales with technical buyers and business leaders at insurance companies.

Qualifications

• Three to eight years of experience closing B2B SaaS deals at startups, including at least one year closing enterprise deals with $200,000 or more in annual contract value.
• Experience building outbound pipeline from the ground up, including prior SDR or BDR work.
• Experience selling AI, data, or other highly technical products to technical buyers.
• Startup experience and an interest in building sales processes from an early stage.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• A track record without multiple recent roles lasting less than a year.

Benefits

• Base salary range: $125,000 to $170,000 USD annually.
• Visa sponsorship is available.

Remote within the United States, with Chicago as the primary location.
