Role Description

This is a founding Account Executive seat on a sales team that is just getting built: today it is one Account Executive and one SDR. You will sell the core Employer of Record product to SMB and mid-market companies hiring internationally, with the same kind of motion and quota structure used by the leading global employment platforms, plus early-stage equity. A dedicated post-sale team takes over after close, so your focus stays on winning new business.

Their team is hiring its first VP of Sales now and plans to add more Account Executives within a couple of months, so early hires have a real chance to help shape the team as it grows. Expect a fast-moving, high-expectation environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the sales cycle from first meeting through close, working alongside SDR support
• Build and manage your own pipeline of SMB and mid-market companies hiring internationally
• Sell the core global employment product and position bundled payroll and HR products where they fit
• Hand closed customers cleanly to the post-sale team
• Help shape the sales playbook, messaging and process as an early member of the team
• Share what you learn from the market with the founding team

Qualifications

• 1+ years of closing experience as a senior SMB or mid-market Account Executive
• Experience selling Employer of Record, global employment or global payroll is strongly preferred; adjacent HR or fintech sales experience is also relevant
• A consistent track record of meeting or exceeding quota
• Experience selling at a startup or high-growth company
• Comfort working autonomously in a remote, results-driven environment
• Interest in growing with the company as the sales team scales

Compensation

• $100K-$125K base
• $200K-$250K OTE

Their platform lets companies hire and pay people anywhere: an Employer of Record product for international hiring, alongside US payroll and compliance and a full HR suite. The business grew roughly 20x from 2024 to 2025 and is on pace to multiply again this year. The team is about 20 people across two US hubs and remote, with a results-first culture that cares about outcomes rather than hours logged in a particular place.
