Role Description
Be part of the Account Management team in Denmark. Join our Sales team as a Field Account Manager and play a key role in driving commercial success across a portfolio of selected Biopharma accounts in Denmark and the South of Sweden. Through building strong customer relationships, identifying and developing new business opportunities and driving sales activities, you will help accelerate the adoption of innovation solutions that support better health for more people.
Based in Copenhagen | Γresund area, you will work from home, with regular travel within the assigned territory. The role also involves occasional international travel.

Understand customersβ needs to proactively promote the full range of the Sartorius portfolio and services to achieve sales and revenue targets by both in-person and remote interaction to assigned customers.

Identify key decision-makers, develop prospects, maintain leads in CRM (Salesforce) and build long-term customer relationships.

Manage accounts and relationships with different functions and hierarchy levels, identifying upselling opportunities to expand business and increase revenue.

Act as a first point of contact providing support with technical and commercial issues.

Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Biopharma market.

Collaborate with internal teams such as Application Specialists, Order Process Management, Business Development, Sales Support, Marketing and Service to utilize resources to support value offerings throughout the entire sales process.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement account strategies to support the customer and gain market share.

Conduct presentations, demos, negotiations, generate quotations and respond to customer enquiries.

Present and drive newly launched innovative products and services into the marketplace and follow up on the successful implementation of sales activity.

Pursue continuous improvement in collaboration, customer engagement and way of working with the customer.
Qualifications

BSc degree in Life sciences or Engineering or equivalent; higher-level qualification would be beneficial.

Good understanding of biotechnology industry and relevant technologies.

Industry experience within R&D/manufacturing or process development with biologicals.

Demonstrated sales experience in biotech/pharma industry would be beneficial.

Strong customer focus with great communication and negotiation skills.

Excellent record management & organisational skills; use of CRM would be advantageous.

Creative thinker when it comes to problem solving, self-motivated and results oriented β motivated by winning orders and hitting targets.

Persistent, ability to prioritise and work in a fast-paced environment, embrace change, capacity to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility.

Fluent English skills are required; Danish and/or Swedish language skills preferred.

Ability to work as part of a cross-functional and cross-cultural team.

Willingness and flexibility to travel.

Must have the right to work in Sweden or Denmark.
