Role Description
Phillips Corporation is searching for a high-caliber machine tool professional to join our Federal Life Cycle Team to spearhead our growth trajectory in the western United States, driving strategic Life Cycle and Preventive Maintenance growth by uncovering and converting high-value opportunities that maximize customer readiness, operational performance, and profitability.

Conduct Federal facility site visits.

Find and shape advanced manufacturing opportunities.

Maintain long-term customer relationships.

Provide lifecycle solutions that extend equipment value and facility readiness.

Manage accounts and establish an elite benchmark for territory influence and long-term asset optimization.

Take ownership of the full lifecycle of strategic maintenance opportunities, from lead generation and proposal development through contract wins.

Shape strategic proposals that seamlessly integrate pricing structures and follow contractual compliance.

Utilize CRM and bid board management systems to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously.

Ensure every submission is compliant and aligned with technical requirements.

Execute critical pre- and post-award reviews to create pipeline generation and growth.

Build trusted long-term partnerships through proactive engagement, consistent site presence, and close customer collaboration.
Qualifications

Strong understanding of CNC machinery, manufacturing technology, and industrial equipment.

5 or more years of sales experience, ideally focused on the federal government.

Strong organizational, multitasking, and project management skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with sales, vendors, operations, and customer teams.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to proactively manage tasks and deadlines.

Customer-focused and service-oriented mindset, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Ability to travel 60 - 80% of the time throughout the United States and live near a major airport.
