[Hiring] External Wholesaler @MCB Real Estate

Role Description

The primary role of the External Wholesaler-Southern California is to build and grow the sales channel for MCB’s newly formed Wealthbridge platform within Southern California and designated regions. Primary duties will include:

• Raising equity capital by promoting Wealthbridge’s DST and 1031 exchange real estate investment programs.
• Generating investor equity sales through relationships with broker-dealers (BD’s), registered representatives, and RIA’s.
• Requires a depth of experience in real estate securities and Alternative Investment sales channels.
• Primarily outside sales with a frequent travel schedule required.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree with related business area focus required.
• FINRA Registration (Series 7 and 63) or other as required.
• Minimum of five years’ industry experience successfully raising capital through the IBD and RIA sales channels as a DST Program wholesaler.
• Strong relationships in Southern California and the west coast.
• Strong knowledge of DST and other tax-advantaged real estate investments.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing and appropriate vehicle insurance coverage required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and its related suite of applications, CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot, and other relevant systems as necessary.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking and presentation of company and program facts and details at events, home offices, and investor seminars.
• Strong multitasking abilities and prioritization skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

Requirements

• Proactively manage Salesforce or other CRM system to assure sales contact, data, and reports are current and accurate.
• Participate in weekly sales report updates with the SVP, National Sales, sales team, CEO, and other MCB executives.
• Promote and market Wealthbridge’s offerings and provide education on 1031 exchanges and Delaware Statutory Trusts (DSTs).
• Participate in sales training, educational and industry webinars, events, and conferences.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and provide input concerning DST industry supply and demand.
• Participate with SVP, National Sales in working with the marketing group to produce needed marketing collateral materials.
• Join and participate in industry organizations, networking nationally and regionally, and attending relevant conferences and events and home office meetings.

Physical Requirements

• This position is performed primarily on the road/outside sales setting with extended periods of sitting and computer/keyboard use.
• Reading and editing documents; regular phone and other electronic equipment use.
• Minimal lifting (<30 lbs.), frequent standing, climbing, and regular travel.
• Must be able to travel independently by vehicle, train, plane, or other modes of transportation in the regular performance of the job.
