Role Description
Banks, insurers, lenders, and wealth firms are all asking the same question: how do we move from chat-only to voice and AI agents without regulatory, brand, or operational blowback? You'll own our North America enterprise motion in financial services and be the person who answers it, with customers, partners, and the C-suite. This is a rare chance to join while the vertical is moving from pilots to production, with the mandate to build the playbook and the team.
-
Own the enterprise FinServ function across banking, insurance, lending/payments, and wealth: strategy, pipeline, forecast, process, execution
-
Define the enterprise ICP, sales methodology, and a repeatable motion for regulated buyers
-
Build and lead a high-performing enterprise sales team
-
Land anchor logos in legacy banks and insurers, then expand across business lines (this is an industry where one named logo opens doors with its peers)
-
Guide buyers through model-risk review, architecture review, and vendor security, bringing Risk, Compliance, and InfoSec in early
-
Help customers pick a narrow, high-volume first use case (servicing, caller verification, collections, claims, onboarding) and scale from there
-
Partner with our Forward Deployed Engineers, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to co-build and share what the field teaches us
-
Lead executive briefings, events, and high-stakes negotiations
-
Bring a sharp view of the competitive landscape, including build-vs-buy and platform bundlers, to positioning and strategy
-
Set the bar for sales culture, integrity, and customer-first execution
Qualifications
-
Proven enterprise sales leadership in a high-growth, product-led tech company (AI/ML strongly preferred)
-
Track record selling to banks, insurers, or fintechs, and navigating Risk, Compliance, and InfoSec gatekeepers
-
Experience building and scaling sales teams from the ground up
-
Seven-figure enterprise deals and complex, multi-stakeholder cycles
-
Working knowledge of financial regulation and model-risk expectations (a plus)
-
Ability to be strategic and hands-on at once
-
Executive presence at C-suite and board levels
-
Collaborative, humble, and driven
-
Passion for the transformative potential of conversational AI
Requirements
-
This role is remote-first, so it can be executed from anywhere in the United States, however the ability to operate in EST, CST, or PST timezones is required.
-
There is a preference for candidates to be based in New York or San Francisco, with the option to work out of our office.
