[Hiring] Educational Tours Specialist @Transforma Travel Group

Role Description

We’re seeking an excellent salesperson who is highly experienced and knowledgeable in the field of educational travel sales. The educational tours specialist will be primarily responsible for growing The Learning Adventure business, within their region, by:

• Working on direct enquiries from schools and universities.
• Cultivating relationships for the brand through innovative business development avenues.
• Managing and harvesting your sales region, proactively generating leads, and presenting the company in person as well as online.

The successful candidate will have a proven ability to sell school tours, strong attention to detail, be organised, and highly passionate about educational travel and the destinations we offer. Travel is an important part of the role with visits to key clients, schools, and forging new relationships within your sales region.

Responsibilities

• Sales: Generate leads, manage existing enquiries, convert them, and build/manage a portfolio of clients who will rebook with us year on year and recommend us to future schools.
• Business Development: Responsible for school visits, direct reach outs to schools, conference attendance, and identifying ways to increase our client base in your sales region.
• Quote Curation: Work with clients to match their needs and build enriching, well-designed, and inspiring tour itineraries/programs for young people, mainly curriculum led.
• Maximise Profits: Effective price setting on tours to meet the school’s requirements while maximising margins and profitability for the business.
• Client Journey: Ensure every stage of our client journey is superb and all touchpoints with clients are clear and processes upheld.
• Operations: Work closely with our regional operations teams on trips to ensure they have all the right information pre-trip.
• Presentations: Deliver presentations in person or online to customers/schools, as well as at parents’ evenings to prospect or present the tours that you have effectively already sold.
• Relationship Building: Build long-term relationships with clients and maximise all sales opportunities.
• Account Management: Build on strong relationships with key accounts while identifying and developing new key account opportunities.
• Sales Strategy: Inform strategy and bring ideas to the table as part of a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• Excellent level of English, both written and verbal.
• Careful, organized approach to work and admin.
• Ability to effectively uphold processes in an efficient way in-line with company timelines and schedules.
• Resilient and able to deal with knockbacks while staying positive.
• Strategic thinker who understands client requirements.
• Ambitious and comfortable in a fast-growing environment.
• Sales driven with a passion to improve and experience an internationalized world.
• Willingness to travel across the MENA region.

Requirements

• At least 2 years' experience in travel sales or B2B sales, ideally educational tour sales.
• Equivalent background in account management B2B or within the education sector will also be considered.
• Arabic and English fluency, both written and spoken.
• Based in the UAE, or willing to relocate.
• Proven track record of strong sales experience and high level of customer service feedback.
• Ideally a knowledge of Americas, Asia, and Europe.
