Role Description

Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, seeks a District Sales Representative to join its industry leading sales team. You’ll be responsible for revenue and profit growth of programs and services in targeted accounts.

• Using a consultative sales approach, build relationships with existing customers by executing system assurance programs that meet their key business needs.
• With strong account leadership, convert strategic competitive accounts and sell new technologies to current customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering or related field of study.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in technical sales or field sales.
• Experience from water treatment or chemical industry is a pre-requisite.
• Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems.
• Experience from the food and beverage industry either with technical sales or coming from a technical/production background.
• Energetic, self-driven and motivated by creating results and developing your own skills.
• Comfortable working in reporting tools as CRM.
• Comfortable with AI (COPILOT).
• Good at communicating and building relationships.
• Enjoy taking initiative and working independently but also functions well as part of a team.
• Fluent in Danish (spoken and written) as well as basic English skills.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness and possibility to travel for work.

Requirements

• Join our Danish F&B team and take ownership of your own customer portfolio across Funen and parts of Zealand mainly, where you will grow the business and maintain strong client relationships.
• Deliver technical support to customers in collaboration with the EU technical team, identifying and solving their challenges and escalating when needed.
• Solve customer challenges by analyzing systems, interpreting data, and delivering written recommendations that keep operations running at peak performance.
• Develop and carry out sales plans for your existing customers and assigned competitor-held accounts to achieve profit growth targets.
• Partner with current and potential customers to understand their business needs and propose improvement and innovation plans to promote long-term business relationships with Nalco Water.
• Traveling within the country is expected.
