Role Description
As District Sales Manager, you will take a key strategic and operational role within the Region, turning sales strategy into action and bringing it to life through the field sales force.

Lead and develop Sales Representatives across the District.

Impact recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, coaching, and ongoing development.

Communicate strategies clearly to ensure understanding of objectives and their importance.
Your influence will extend beyond the sales team.

Develop and nurture relationships with key customers.

Act as a strategic partner while maintaining day-to-day customer relationships.

Engage in periodic sales reporting and corporate rebate negotiations.
This is a varied role for someone who enjoys being close to the business.

Contribute to annual sales forecasts and sales expense planning.

Manage District performance against objectives within established budgets.

Monitor sales and call performance, ensuring project priorities move forward.

Balance strategic projects, customer priorities, team development, and commercial performance.

Qualifications

Accomplished sales professional with a strong performance track record.

Bachelor's degree required.

Excellent communication, presentation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Previous sales management or supervisory experience beneficial.

Applied knowledge of the building industry preferred.

Knowledge of the VELUX product portfolio preferred.

Commercially curious and highly analytical.

Strong Excel and PowerPoint capabilities essential.

Experience with Business Warehouse and QlikView preferred.

Strong coaching and motivational skills.
