Role Description

We are seeking a Director of Sales and Account Management to partner closely with the Chief Revenue Officer. Together you’ll oversee the commercial engine of the business and lead a high-performing team of Account Managers, managing their bandwidth and priorities. This role will be responsible for driving new business, growing and retaining existing clients, and maintaining key platform partnerships. The Director will also take ownership of team performance and goal attainment.

We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on sales leader with a proven track record of managing teams and familiarity with digital content syndication and the creator economy.

What You’ll Do:

• Sales
  • Oversee the new business pipeline from sourcing through close, ensuring Account Managers hit their signing targets.
  • Support the negotiation of new business, upsell and renewal deals.
  • Maintain the weekly sales reporting tracker, contract databases and pitch materials.
  • Identify and implement new sourcing and outreach strategies.
  • Build GTM strategy, communications, pitch materials and deal/agreement structures for new partnership opportunities.
• Account Management
  • Drive client retention, satisfaction and growth.
  • Help Account Managers with day-to-day portfolio management from onboarding through renewal.
  • Handle communications and the distribution plan for topics with broad partner impact, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
  • Partner with the Operations team to address client feedback and deliver solutions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with strategic partners and agencies.
• Platform Partnerships & Business Development
  • Manage relationships with key platform partners, serving as liaison and sharing ongoing insights both internally and externally.
  • Identify and evaluate new market, platform and distribution opportunities.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and deal execution.
  • Support the internal launch process for new opportunities, driving alignment and accountability across teams.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7+ years in sales, partnerships or account management in media/entertainment/platforms.
• Proven track record of managing a team, ideally in a sales or account management function.
• Experience negotiating and closing complex deals.
• Strong network within the digital/media space.
• Deep understanding of content distribution and platform ecosystems (e.g., Facebook, Spotify, OTT).
• Highly driven, hands-on, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong commercial instinct with a sharp strategic mindset.

Compensation

• $130,000 to $150,000 base salary.
