[Hiring] Direct Markets Regional Sales Manager @Zurich Insurance Company Ltd.

Role Description

We have a new exciting opportunity to grow with Zurich leading a team in the West Division as a Regional Sales Manager (RSM). This person will be responsible for profitable growth and development of Account Executives and Insurance Sales Professionals.

• Implement strategic and tactical objectives related to Zurich's overall sales strategy to achieve and sustain profitable growth.
• Analyze and provide strategic direction to the team of Sales Professionals to advance Zurich's position in the marketplace in the Western Division’s Seattle Office.
• Sales activities include:
  • Writing new business
  • Retaining existing accounts
  • Providing quality service
  • Increasing market share and product mix while operating within business guidelines
• Represent the Zurich Team in leadership meetings, at association meetings, and industry activities.
• Oversee cross-team sales initiatives as needed.
• Maintain responsibility for customer issues and/or challenges in the region.
• Leadership activities will include:
  • Planning
  • Budgeting
  • Coaching
  • Interviewing/selection
  • Performance management

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree and 4 or more years of experience in the Outside Sales area
• OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more years of experience in the Outside Sales area
• Experience with the principles of sales, sales techniques, and sales terminology
• Experience working within a regulatory environment
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Experience analyzing financial statements and reports
• Licensed to sell insurance products

Requirements

• Superior Communication skills, both written and verbal
• Thorough understanding of the principles of Property & Casualty along with F&I sales, F&I sales techniques, and F&I sales terminology
• Prior management/supervisory experience is a plus
• Recent demonstrated and documented success relative to New Business Acquisition, along with consistent goal achievement
• Broad knowledge of the automotive segment customers' business and operations with the ability to forge and build relationships therein
