[Hiring] Consignment Director Music/Entertainment @eBay

Role Description

We are seeking intermediate to expert level skill sets in several fields in the Music, Entertainment Collectibles area. The consignment director is responsible for sourcing high-end collectibles and placing them into auction and handling communications from beginning of sale to end. A strong knowledge of the subject matter is required. High-end sales experience and/or prior collectibles work-related experience is a plus.

• Ability to offer advice and recommendations to experienced collectors confidently
• Able to identify authentic and counterfeit items
• Ability to evaluate a wide range of collectibles
• Outbound/Inbound sales efforts via email, phone
• Well spoken and strong communication skills, verbal and written
• Must possess strong knowledge of memorabilia
• Strong relationship management skills catering to high net worth customers
• Consistently able to close sales by engaging customers and driving revenue growth
• Meet and exceed quota expectations through strong sales execution, organization, and follow-through
• Create and manage auctions to maximize product visibility and sales performance
• Offer white glove services for sellers

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years hobby related experience
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Able to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Bachelor's Degree
• Salesforce, Excel, email

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

• Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience.
• The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
• Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
