[Hiring] Commercial Channel and Territory Account Manager @DuPont

Role Description

Join DuPont's Performance Building Solutions team and help drive growth across one of the most important territories in North America. This role combines channel management, customer relationship building, and commercial sales execution within the non-residential construction and roofing markets.

Location: Southwestern Ontario (Remote) | Greater Toronto Area preferred

Travel: Up to 50% throughout Central, Southwestern, and Northern Ontario

What You'll Do

• Manage and grow relationships with commercial building products distributors and dealer partners.
• Execute territory growth plans aligned with regional and national sales strategies.
• Drive demand by working with contractors, distributors, and key market influencers.
• Support distributors with training, product knowledge, inventory planning, and issue resolution.
• Convert project opportunities into sales through proactive project tracking and customer engagement.
• Manage project pipelines using Salesforce and construction project tracking tools.
• Deliver product and installation training to customers and channel partners.
• Support customer questions related to building envelope products and applications.
• Partner with internal teams on pricing, promotions, product launches, and market opportunities.
• Represent DuPont at industry events, trade associations, and customer meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, construction management, marketing, or a related field.
• 5+ years of sales, account management, channel management, or business development experience.
• Experience working within construction, building materials, roofing, insulation, distribution, or related industries.
• Proven ability to manage customer relationships and grow territory sales.
• Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a large geographic territory.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% throughout Ontario.

Requirements

• Experience with building envelope, roofing, weather barrier, insulation, or other building science-related products.
• Experience supporting contractors, distributors, architects, consultants, or specifiers.
• Knowledge of construction project tracking platforms such as ConstructConnect or similar tools.
• Active involvement in construction or building industry associations.
