The Clinical Diagnostics Division (CDD) provides innovative diagnostic solutions across selected in vitro diagnostics (IVD) market segments and has been a trusted partner to the IVD industry for more than 40 years.

Support the targeted clinical use of Procalcitonin (PCT) and other innovative biomarkers.

Drive clinical demand and adoption of our biomarkers through targeted engagement with healthcare professionals.

Support the diagnosis and management of bacterial infections and sepsis, as well as antimicrobial stewardship initiatives.

Contribute to advancing biomarker-guided clinical decision-making.
A Day in the Life:

Develop hospitals and healthcare institutions within your territory.
-
Build strong, sustainable relationships with key clinical stakeholders and decision-makers.
-
Identify objectives and clinical challenges of healthcare professionals.
-
Support the implementation of biomarker-guided clinical pathways, hospital protocols, and antimicrobial stewardship programs.

Deliver clinical education through discussions, presentations, and workshops.
-
Coordinate clinical market development activities in close collaboration with our License Partners.

Support the clinical development of high-potential accounts.

Work closely with Medical Affairs, Marketing, and other Commercial teams.

Represent Thermo Fisher Scientific at relevant events and scientific congresses.

Contribute to agreed growth objectives.

Ensure complete and up-to-date documentation of relevant account and activity information in Salesforce (SFDC).
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology or a related scientific field; advanced scientific degree is an advantage.

3+ years of relevant experience in healthcare, diagnostics or a related environment.

Experience engaging clinical users and healthcare decision-makers.

Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.

Strong analytical and organizational capabilities.

Ability to build lasting relationships with clinical stakeholders and business partners.

Ability to work independently and effectively in a cross-functional matrix organization.

Proficiency with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, and Microsoft Office.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory (>50%).

Strong English communication skills.
