Role Description

This is a remote position. A rapidly growing business networking hub is looking for a vibrant, enthusiastic Virtual Sales and Appointment Setter who genuinely loves connecting with business owners over the phone to take ownership of their member-growth pipeline across 7 local locations. This is a flexible, part-time, independent contracting role working UK business hours. It is campaign-driven, requiring a baseline of 7 hours per week, starting with an initial trial on landline outreach. Hours have the clear potential to scale up to 14+ hours per week based on campaign success and location expansion.

Unlike traditional cold-calling, you will be following up on warm, captured leads and business data. Your primary goal is to bring a warm, personal touch—contacting tradespeople, professionals, and entrepreneurs to invite them as founding guests to lively local business breakfast meetings.

Responsibilities

• Warm Lead & Landline Outreach:
  • Conduct phone outreach to captured contact data and warm campaign leads across 7 locations (aiming for a steady rhythm of approximately 20 brief, high-energy calls per hour).
  • Build instant rapport, explain the value of the network, and invite prospects to attend upcoming breakfast meetings as free guests.
• CRM & Data Management:
  • Log call outcomes, update guest statuses, and keep tracking spreadsheets meticulously clean.
  • Utilize Capsule CRM to input client names, contact details, and core business categories.
• Streamlined Guest Booking:
  • Hand off successfully booked guests into the automated system, ensuring they receive their date, location, and reminder workflows seamlessly.
• Future Workflow Growth:
  • Assist with light email administration and basic social media engagement support (e.g., following up on automated social leads) as new systems and locations roll out.

Qualifications

• Bubbly Personality & Phone Presence: A naturally warm, personable, and confident phone manner. You sound like an inviting partner connecting with local business owners, not a robotic telemarketer.
• Outbound Call Confidence: Comfortable, energetic, and efficient on the phone, with a proven track record in lead nurturing, appointment setting, or customer service.
• Tech Comfort & Agility: Comfortable navigating cloud systems and digital dialers (e.g., MegaCall/WhatsApp) and managing data in Google Sheets. Familiarity with Capsule CRM is a great advantage (nice-to-have).
• Dynamic Capacity Management (UK Hours): Available to work during UK business hours with a flexible, scaling schedule—starting at a baseline of 7 hours/week (1 hour per location), with the capacity to scale up to 14+ hours/week as campaigns expand.
