[Hiring] Business Development Representative @Garner Health

Role Description

As a Business Development Representative, Provider, you’ll report to the VP of Business Development and partner closer with our Provider team. You will own a critical component of Garner's provider go-to-market motion, owning initial outreach to targeted health system and provider partners, working in conjunction with the sales and marketing teams. This is a builder's seat: our outreach playbook is still being written, and the person in this role will help write it.

What you will do

• Generate qualified meetings and pipeline for Garner’s Provider organization, while meeting or exceeding target BDR activity metrics.
• Work with and leverage sales teammates to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities.
• Utilize business and industry knowledge to research accounts, identify key targets, generate interest, identify compelling events, and develop accounts.
• Conduct high-level discovery conversations in target accounts.
• Manage, track and report on all activities using Salesforce.
• Contribute to the creation of a repeatable go-to-market playbook, providing feedback to the Product, Sales, and Account Management teams while continuously improving our messaging, targeting, and objection handling.

Qualifications

• 1 - 3 years relevant work experience, ideally in a fast-paced selling environment.
• Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, and strong writing skills.
• Inbound and outbound calling experience.
• Proficient in Salesforce, Outreach, and ZoomInfo.
• Experience with healthcare is a plus.
• A willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and do whatever is necessary to ensure company success.
• A desire to do work that matters and to be held to a high standard while doing it.
• Engage with AI tools as part of how you do your best work, and hold yourself accountable to outcomes that matter beyond your team’s metrics.

Benefits

• Base salary for this position is $70,000 - $75,000.
• This position is also commission eligible.
