Role Description
We are looking for a high-energy, strategic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Australian sales team. This is a majorly outbound-focused role where you will be the engine of our growth not only in Australia but the wider APAC region, identifying and engaging key stakeholders within well-established organisations.

Strategic Prospecting & Lead Generation:
Identify and research high-value accounts using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lemlist, and AI-driven intent data to map out complex organizational structures.

Regional Coverage:
Tap into a remarkable range of markets and business cultures, from mature economies (e.g. Australia, New Zealand, Japan) to some of the fastest-growing in the world (e.g. Indonesia). Schedule will flex around different time zones.

Omnichannel Outreach:
Contact potential leads via email, phone, and social media to introduce the companyβs products or services. Potential to be creative with messaging and outreach.

Qualification of Leads:
Assess the needs and potential of leads to determine their suitability for the company's offerings β uncover business pain points and ensure every discovery call set is high-value.

Conference & Events:
Travel to conferences and trade-shows to represent the company (up to 50%). Engage prospects face-to-face, manage booth traffic, and turn "passing interest" into qualified pipeline.

The AE Partnership:
Work in lockstep with Account Executives (AEs) to develop territory plans. Provide deep account intelligence that helps win complex enterprise deals.

Data Integrity & CRM Excellence:
Maintain detailed records of interactions with leads in our CRM - HubSpot. Use data to track conversion rates and iterate on messaging based on market feedback.

Meeting & Deals Targets:
Achieve or exceed set quotas for meetings set-up and deals created.

Reporting:
Provide regular updates to management on pipeline development and other metrics.

Adjacent Tasks:
Beyond core BDR work, pitch in where it moves the needle, e.g. helping prepare an exhibition booth, adapting a one-pager for a specific market, or arming an AE with additional deep-dive research on a target account.
Qualifications

1β2 Years of Experience: At least a year in B2B SaaS sales (preferably enterprise-level). Understand the "long game" of enterprise cycles.

The "Outbound" Mindset: Comfortable with the "cold" start. View a "No" as a request for more information and enjoy the hunt of finding the right person.

Exceptional Communication: Articulate, empathetic, and persuasive in various communication forms.

Tech Savvy: Familiarity with a modern sales stack (HubSpot, Lemlist, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) and interest in using AI tools.

Growth Mindset: Desire to grow in SaaS and view this as an opportunity to strengthen basics and learn the trade.
