We’re looking for a Business Development Representative to join our ever-evolving Partner Channel Sales Team and help shape the future of global commerce. In this role, you’ll help drive the growth of businesses in your community by connecting merchants with innovative payment technology solutions that support their success.

• Drive revenue growth across your territory by building a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities, converting prospects into clients, and delivering against sales and referral targets.
• Expand strategic partner relationships by increasing engagement within branch networks, creating new revenue opportunities, and maximizing business generated through referrals.
• Shape client success through consultative selling by helping merchants adopt solutions that improve operational efficiency, support business growth, and deliver long-term value.
• Own sales performance outcomes by managing the full sales cycle, maintaining strong conversion metrics, and consistently achieving quota in a fast-paced environment.
• Strengthen market presence and business influence by identifying emerging opportunities, building meaningful local relationships, and positioning Global Payments as a trusted payments technology partner.

Qualifications

• Proven success in outside B2B sales with a demonstrated ability to build pipeline, win new business, and consistently achieve performance goals.
• Strong prospecting, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills, with the confidence to engage decision-makers and overcome objections.
• Entrepreneurial drive, resilience, and accountability, with the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and opportunities.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence client decisions and clearly articulate business value.
• A customer-focused and results-oriented mindset, supported by strong organizational skills and a track record of thriving in performance-driven environments.

Requirements

• Experience selling payment processing, financial services, software, or technology solutions.
• An active membership in business associations, merchant groups, or professional networking organizations.
• Previous success in a commission-based sales environment with short sales cycles and high-volume prospecting.

Benefits

• This position comes with a base salary of $55,000/yr + uncapped monthly commissions + benefits.
• OTE in year 1 is approximately $75,000/yr.
