[Hiring] Associate Account Executive @Marchex

Role Description

We are looking for an Associate AE to act as the liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with automotive dealerships. In this role, you will:

• Make outbound calls to potential clients who have expressed interest in learning more about Marchex’ capabilities or appear to be strong potential customers based upon our ideal customer profile and general market focus.
• Qualify prospective customers through targeted questions about their business strategy.
• Establish the probability of the prospect being a good match for Marchex’ services.
• Cultivate strong relationships with prospects, from first contact until you set the appointment for the automotive sales team.
• Ensure proper pass-off to the automotive team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience required.
• At least 1 year of experience in an inside/outside sales environment preferred.
• Automotive experience preferred.
• Experience working in and understanding a goal-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to see tasks through to successful completion.
• Results-driven and highly motivated self-starter with demonstrated initiative.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Overall positive attitude, team-player orientation, and willingness to be flexible in a changing environment.
• Experience using a Windows-based PC, a CRM tool such as Salesforce, and intermediate knowledge of MS Office suite, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel required.
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as successfully function independently.

Requirements

• Setup meetings and present Marchex products to potential clients via phone and email communications.
• Make outbound calls to prospects who have expressed interest in learning more about Marchex.
• Make outbound calls to prospects who are considered an ideal customer profile and part of the target account list.
• Qualify potential prospects by asking questions to determine potential fit for Marchex products.
• Record prospect information in Salesforce.
• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
• Utilize marketing tools like Salesloft, Apollo, and HubSpot.
