[Hiring] Area Sales Manager - Automotive After Market | Value Added Services @3M

Role Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Area Sales Manager to drive the 3M Value-Added Services (VAS) business across the OEM dealership and distributor network in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Based in Hyderabad, the incumbent will be responsible for:

• Identifying, acquiring, and onboarding new AOEM dealership accounts to expand market penetration and business opportunities.
• Developing and managing strong relationships with dealership owners, management teams, and key decision-makers to drive long-term business partnerships.
• Leading and supporting 3M channel partners and distributors, ensuring effective market coverage and achievement of sales objectives.
• Driving secondary sales by increasing the adoption of 3M Value-Added Services across the assigned dealership network.
• Achieving primary billing targets and delivering business growth in line with organizational goals.
• Executing territory development strategies to maximize revenue and market share.
• Championing New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives by successfully launching and driving adoption of new offerings within the territory.
• Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify new business opportunities.
• Collaborating with internal cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales and business development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in B2B sales, account management, and business development.
• Proven experience in OEM/dealership management and channel partner/distributor handling.
• Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive both primary and secondary sales while delivering business targets.
• High level of execution excellence with a strong market development orientation.
• Self-driven, analytical, and capable of managing a large territory with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• 8–12 years of sales experience, preferably in the automotive aftermarket, OEM, auto accessories, lubricants, paints, adhesives, chemicals, or industrial products sectors.
• Experience working with dealership ecosystems and channel sales models will be highly preferred.
