[Hiring] Area Manager - Micra Specialist (Leadless Pacemaker) @Medtronic

Role Description

Engage with Electrophysiologists and Interventional Cardiologists to promote Micra Leadless Pacemaker therapy.

• Conduct physician, patient, and therapy awareness programs to increase market adoption.
• Involvement in clinic discussions and presence in OT/Cath Lab for supporting cases and managing KOL, Key Accounts, and driving market development initiatives.
• Promotes and sells Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area to meet or exceed sales targets (AOP).
• Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals.
• Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs, and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services.
• Promotes and establishes company's products and/or services.
• Conducts market research including customers and competitor’s activities and analysis of total market and accounts.
• Implement market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.
• Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations, and Marketing.
• Timely reporting as per BU requirement on sales data and completion of assigned training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 8+ years experience
• OR Associate’s Degree AND 6+ years experience
• OR Bachelor’s Degree AND 4+ years experience
• Must have experience in Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) OR Exposure to Electrophysiology, Interventional Cardiology, or Structural Heart therapies.
• Strong sales and key account management experience in medical devices.
• Experience handling multi-state territories and diverse customer segments.

Requirements

• Experience in cardiology preferably in Cardiac Rhythm Management devices or TAVI /TAVR/IMPELLA.
• Good communication skills and managing corporate and government accounts.
• Candidate with IBHRE CCDS will be preferred.
