[Hiring] Aftermarket Sales Engineer @Nikkiso Cryogenic Industries

Role Description

We are looking for a results-driven Sales Engineer to grow our aftermarket business across Europe. Reporting to the Sales Manager Europe, this role is focused on driving revenue growth and strengthening customer relationships within the assigned territory.

• Actively engage with Industrial Gas & LNG Terminals customers to understand their evolving needs.
• Review and enhance the value proposition.
• Identify new growth opportunities.
• Expand our aftermarket presence by delivering tailored solutions and uncovering untapped potential.
• Collaborate with internal service, engineering, and logistics teams to ensure customer satisfaction and regional growth.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (required), German (big plus), including business and legal vocabulary.
• Bachelor/Master’s degree in Technical Sales, Business, Mechanical Engineering, or related field is advantageous.
• 5-7 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development.
• Tenacity and a confident and persuasive self-starter with a strong drive to achieve results.
• Leadership and ability to contribute to increasing team spirit.
• Proven experience in sales and customer service.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Skilled in time management, prioritizing, and managing changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Some experience in major projects or transactions.
• Experience in bidding/proposal preparation and the ability to read and understand bid/proposal specifications, both from a technical and commercial perspective.
• Strong understanding of sales processes and strategies.

Requirements

• Proven sales experience in industrial or technical markets, ideally within the Rotating Equipment or Cryogenic Industry.
• Strong business development skills with a proven track record of uncovering new opportunities and converting them into revenue.
• Excellent customer relationship management abilities, skilled at building trust and long-term partnerships.
• Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs to shape competitive value propositions.
• Ability to travel frequently, considering 50-75% of the time spent travelling.
