Role Description
This position is responsible for creating value for Baumüller's strategic customers by selling and delivering high-added-value Baumüller products, solutions, and services while contributing to Baumüller's growth. This position is also responsible for developing business and retaining and servicing clients in the specified geographic region.
Duties and Responsibilities

Generates and develops new business to meet specified sales and customer satisfaction goals.

Maintains and nurtures existing client relationships.

Leads the Baumueller-Nuermont Corp. sales team.

Responds to all inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.

Functions as liaison between client companies and operations staff.

Understands and communicates information regarding company products, services, policies, and procedures to new and existing clients.

Continually gathers information on local competition and prevalent industry and business climate within the region; communicates information to management and others as needed.

Negotiates contracts and work agreements.

Ensures that all required client paperwork is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.

Provides timely and accurate reports as required.

Attends and participates in business/trade events that impact business units.

Attends and participates in team strategic sales meetings.

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's Degree (BA) from a four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Demonstrated track record of success in a similar role at similar companies (sales, sales manager, or geography account executive in industrial, automation, or related companies).

Seven years of professional experience, with a minimum of three years at related companies, is required.
