[Hiring] Vice President, Global Commercial Development Disease Area Lead Panc @Revolution Medicines

Role Description

Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President, Global Commercial Development, this newly created role will serve as a leader for continuing to build and drive our global oncology marketing capabilities, including:

• Disease area strategy
• Launch strategy
• Lifecycle planning
• Portfolio differentiation

Candidates should be passionate about building high-performing teams, leading cross-functional collaboration, and contributing as both a strategic leader and hands-on driver in a growing organization. This position is primarily remote with travel required for scientific and team meetings.

Specifically, you will be responsible for:

• Partnering across the company including with clinical development, medical affairs, and market access to drive disease area strategy.
• Ensuring global readiness to drive successful launch planning, commercialization, and performance tracking across the U.S. and key ex-U.S. markets.
• Leading a team to design and execute global disease area strategy and brand strategies, including branding, positioning, messaging, and value propositions.
• Translating scientific and market insights into compelling strategies, launch narratives, and execution plans.
• Developing and refining global brand plans, including revenue and patient forecasts.
• Partnering with Marketing, Sales, Market Access, and Medical Affairs to align on integrated brand planning.
• Driving excellence in global launch execution by creating launch frameworks and monitoring progress.
• Identifying and managing external agencies, vendors, and partners to deliver impactful global campaigns.
• Serving as a trusted resource to executive leadership in identifying opportunities to maximize commercial value.
• Bringing innovation and new capabilities to global marketing.
• Providing coaching to lead and develop direct reports.
• Up to 50% of travel required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (MBA preferred).
• At least 15+ years of progressive commercial experience in a biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical company.
• Proven success in developing and executing global marketing strategy.
• Experience in leading the global launch of new products in competitive spaces.
• Demonstrated ability to derive insights/analytics leading to the development of innovative marketing strategies.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead teams and influence across the organization.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for helping cancer patients.

Requirements

• Experience with an oncology launch is desired.
• Prior experience in a smaller, rapidly growing company.
• Experience in gastrointestinal or lung cancers preferred.
