Role Description

The mission of the Telefonica Tech Inc. team is to offer Cloud, Cyber and IoT solutions to Multinational Accounts in the United States, contributing to the growth of Telefonica Tech's business and supporting organizations in reaching their digital transformation objectives.

Telefonica Tech delivers managed services to a wide range of business clients across sectors like finance, energy, automotive, retail, education, and transportation. The role of the Multinational Accounts Sales Executive is essential to developing and executing strategic account plans, building executive-level relationships, and driving sustainable growth through our managed Cloud, Cybersecurity, and IoT solutions.

Your day-to-day work will include:

  • Developing and executing the sales strategy for a portfolio of multinational customers in the US and across assigned geographies (Europe).
  • Driving net-new opportunities and expansion within existing accounts, aligning Telefonica Tech’s capabilities (Cybersecurity, Cloud and IoT) to customer business outcomes.
  • Coordinating with internal teams and local market stakeholders to deliver consistent, high-quality customer experience.
  • Owning and growing a portfolio of multinational accounts, developing multi-year account plans and territory strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Building and maintaining trusted relationships with C-level and VP stakeholders, procurement, IT, security, operations, and regional business leaders.
  • Leading opportunity qualification, solution positioning, proposal development, and contract negotiations for complex, multi-site and/or multi-country deployments.
  • Coordinating internal resources (pre-sales, product, operations, legal, finance, marketing) to deliver accurate solutions, pricing, and on-time execution.
  • Creating and executing joint customer plans, including stakeholder mapping, value hypotheses, and prioritized use cases, to build a qualified and sustainable pipeline.
  • Identifying expansion opportunities (additional countries, business units, or solutions) and driving cross-sell/upsell to maximize account value and retention.
  • Maintaining accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and account reporting (QBRs/MBRs), ensuring CRM hygiene and predictable execution.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for the customer and/or channel, driving alignment across regions and ensuring excellent end-to-end customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Commercial profile with 5+ years of enterprise sales/Business Development/account management experience, ideally managing multinational or multi-site accounts.
  • 5+ years of experience selling and/or managing complex technology solutions for large enterprise customers, with a demonstrable track record of quota overachievement.
  • Experience building and executing account plans across multiple stakeholders, business units, and geographies; experience coordinating with European HQs/teams or managing accounts with presence in Europe is a plus.
  • A track record of negotiating and executing complex contracts (including procurement, legal, and security requirements) and managing renewals and expansions within strategic accounts.

Requirements

  • A solid understanding of Telefonica Tech’s portfolio and the ability to translate capabilities into measurable business value.
  • Strong hunting skills: proactive prospecting, identifying new opportunities within target accounts, and converting discovery into qualified pipeline.
  • Executive presence and strong communication skills to navigate complex stakeholder environments and overcome objections.
  • Proven ability to run structured sales cycles (discovery, qualification, solutioning, proposal, negotiation and close) for complex enterprise deals.
  • Strong account planning and opportunity management skills, including forecasting discipline and CRM accuracy.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a matrixed, international environment, coordinating cross-functional teams and (when needed) regional affiliates to deliver for the customer.
