[Hiring] Team Lead, Solutions @Energy Exemplar

Role Description

The Team Lead, Solutions, works as part of the APAC solutions team and is primarily responsible for leading and coordinating pre-sales and implementation support for the Japan sales team. The position will be responsible for engaging directly with both potential and existing clients to communicate technical features of the products and how the products can play a role in the client’s strategies.

• Lead and mentor a team of technical experts to deliver an outstanding experience for our continuously growing client base and prospects.
• Conduct market research, technical discussions, model development, demonstrations, and implementation projects.
• Supported by strong training, coaching, and mentoring, with opportunities for professional growth and career advancement.
• Possess advanced technical skills and deep industry knowledge in the energy sector.
• Have strong people skills and be passionate about working with and developing others to achieve desirable objectives.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in mathematics, engineering, economics, or other related quantitative field (Minimum Bachelor's; Masters or above desirable).
• Achieved N1-level proficiency on the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (advanced/near-native Japanese).
• Deep domain expertise in the Japan energy market, including power market fundamentals, regulatory landscape, and commercial dynamics.
• Understanding of emerging technologies and their likely impact on the industry.
• Understanding of various Mathematical Programming methods and their applications.
• Experience using PLEXOS and excellent understanding of its capabilities; if no direct PLEXOS experience, must demonstrate solid knowledge of other market simulation software tools.
• Basic knowledge of scripting/coding languages.
• Understanding cloud environments in which our cloud and SaaS products reside.

• Knowledge of change-management principles and experience in applying them.
