Role Description

As the Senior Vice President, APAC at Ping Identity, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth while building a predictable, scalable, and data-driven Go-To-Market engine across the Asia-Pacific region.

Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will lead a dynamic, culturally diverse sales team, take ownership of APAC’s revenue targets, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to execute company objectives and strategy.

Your primary focus will be to drive sales and revenue performance, predictability, and scalability across emerging and established markets, with a strong emphasis on pipeline quality, forecast accuracy, and disciplined execution. This will include leading the entire APAC sales organization, planning, reporting, and pipeline management to ensure repeatable success across the region.

This role operates as the General Manager for the APAC region, with end-to-end accountability for business performance, market strategy, and execution, serving as Ping Identity’s most senior leader and representative in the region.

We are considering applicants based in Singapore or Australia (Sydney or Melbourne).

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Business Leadership
    • Cultivate Growth: Act as a primary catalyst for Ping Identity’s expansion by delivering on revenue goals through thoughtful and strategic execution.
    • Drive New Logo Growth: Build and scale a repeatable new logo acquisition engine, increasing contribution to overall ARR while balancing expansion and retention motions.
    • Empower Teams: Provide inclusive leadership to the APAC sales organization, fostering a high-performance environment where diverse perspectives drive innovation and results.
    • Market Strategy: Shape and implement the APAC Go-To-Market strategy, ensuring our approach is responsive to local market dynamics and regional business needs.
    • Integrate & Collaborate: Partner with Marketing, Customer Success, Product and Partner teams to create a seamless journey that maximizes value for our customers.
    • Operational Excellence: Develop and refine operational plans that support our long-term business health and ensure consistency across multiple time zones.
    • Strategic Accounts: Personally engage in top strategic accounts, building C-level relationships and orchestrating complex, multi-product deals across the region.
    • External Advocacy: Build and maintain meaningful relationships with key customers and regional partners to strengthen Ping’s position as a market leader.
  • Insightful & Data-Driven Management
    • Meticulous Analysis: In partnership with Sales Operations, analyze forecasting and pipeline data to uncover insights that support continuous improvement.
    • Effective Planning: Manage functional expenses with a focus on efficiency and responsible resource allocation.
    • Standardize Success: Champion the effective use of our business tools (e.g., Salesforce.com) to ensure data integrity, inspection rigor, and consistent execution of sales processes.
    • Transparency: Share regional progress and key performance insights with the Ping leadership team and Board of Directors.
  • People & Culture Leadership
    • Build Community: Hire, mentor, and develop a diverse team of sales leaders and professionals across major APAC hubs.
    • Career Advocacy: Own people-development initiatives, including mentoring, training, and recognition programs that help every "Identian" reach their full potential.
    • Coaching: Support the team’s professional growth through active coaching and the implementation of sales enablement resources.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of senior sales leadership experience, specifically within the APAC region.
  • Proven success managing and scaling a complex, multi-country business with consistent revenue growth and forecast accuracy.
  • Deep experience in Enterprise Software or SaaS models.
  • A growth mindset with the ability to navigate a global matrixed organization.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build trust across different cultures and organizational levels.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience within the Cybersecurity or Identity industry.
  • An established network of C-level contacts within large APAC enterprises.
  • Advanced degree (MBA) or equivalent business leadership experience.
