[Hiring] Senior Underwriter @Resilience

Role Description

Step into a high-impact, autonomous role to open and own the Paris market. Whether you are an ambitious cyber underwriter ready to control your own regional strategy, or a highly connected cyber broker looking to accelerate your career on the carrier side, this is your opportunity. We are looking for a market-maker. Without the distraction of direct people management, you will have the strategic freedom to build our presence in France, leveraging Resilience's unique model that integrates advanced security expertise directly with cyber insurance to build client resilience from the inside out.

The Mission: What you will achieve in the first 6 months:

• Take complete ownership of delivering the strategy and driving growth for our primary and excess cyber business across the region.
• Utilize your established network to actively engage and educate the broker market to maximize new business opportunities, achieve premium targets, and drive profitable growth.
• Collaborate seamlessly with our in-house technology and security experts to execute client engagement strategies.
• Evaluate risks and determine pricing based on both cutting-edge security data and foundational underwriting principles.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a cyber underwriter or a cyber broker, backed by a proven track record of growth.
• Possess a strong, active network of broker relationships in the French market.
• Deep, technical knowledge of cybersecurity and cyber insurance markets.
• Demonstrate sound risk and pricing decision-making, incorporating technology/security resources and traditional underwriting principles.
• Fully bilingual, with fluent spoken and written French and English. Additional languages is a plus for further regional expansion.
• Technical fluency in G-Suite.
