[Hiring] Senior Sales Effectiveness Manager @Smartsheet

Role Description

We're looking for a Senior Sales Effectiveness Manager to drive the adoption and execution of Smartsheet's value selling methodology across our global sales organization. You'll design training experiences that translate methodology into measurable behavior change, build reinforcement systems that ensure lasting adoption, and use data to continuously optimize how our Account Executives apply our framework in live deals. This is a strategic execution role — you'll own the "how" of enablement delivery while partnering with Sales leadership to ensure programs align with broader revenue goals.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Sales Effectiveness. This is a remote eligible position and you may work remotely from anywhere in the US where Smartsheet is registered.

• Drive value selling adoption and reinforcement across the field.
• Design and deliver training programs, workshops, and certifications that operationalize Smartsheet Value Selling (SVS).
• Build continuous reinforcement mechanisms including role-play scenarios, deal review frameworks, self-assessment tools, and ongoing coaching content.
• Facilitate live training and enablement sessions for Account Executives and new hires globally.
• Leverage AI to scale enablement impact through personalized learning paths and content generation.
• Monitor adoption and optimize based on performance data.
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure alignment with Sales leadership, Revenue Operations, Marketing, and Business Development teams.
• Own program infrastructure and the enablement library, including the SVS playbook and adoption metrics.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in sales enablement, sales training, or direct sales — ideally supporting enterprise and/or commercial business to business teams.
• Deep understanding of value selling or consultative methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, MEDDICC, or similar frameworks.
• Proven facilitation skills — you've delivered training to sales audiences and know how to engage a room (virtual or in-person).
• Strong process discipline — you build systems that scale and maintain documentation rigor.
• Data fluency — you pull adoption metrics from Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
• Comfort with AI tools and a bias toward experimentation.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and influencing stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations.
• Bias toward action and iteration.

• Competitive base salary range of $122,500 — $145,000 USD.
