Role Description

We are currently seeking a Senior Enterprise Sales Engineer to join our team. As a strategic partner throughout the sales process, you will lead high-stakes engagements with C-Suite executives and global stakeholders, architecting how Addepar’s vertically integrated platform transforms complex legacy operations into modern, AI-driven ecosystems. You bring a mastery of financial software to help our prospects and large relationships contextualize Addepar as a mission-critical component of their long-term business strategy.

You will work with our Account Executives to drive the technical side of the sales cycle, focusing on AI-driven workflows and data integration. Internally, you will work with teams to ensure our prospects are abreast of the product development, workflows, and use cases at Addepar. What You’ll Do

  • Strategic Advisory: Act as the lead domain authority for global, multi-billion dollar opportunities, partner with account executives to design complex deal structures and multi-year expansion roadmaps.
  • Platform & AI Evolution: Guide existing clients through the modernization of their workflows. You’ll demonstrate how migrating to a platform or adopting Addepar’s AI-powered insights creates a vertically integrated ecosystem that outpaces their current setup.
  • Business Transformation Discovery: Conduct executive-level discovery to identify systemic business inefficiencies, mapping them to a holistic technical vision that incorporates AI, data lakehouses, and third-party integrations.
  • Demo Construction: Design and build tailored demo environments, run end-to-end proof-of-concepts including the ingestion of client data to showcase the platform's value.
  • Enterprise Account Growth: Lead technical executive reviews and expansion executions for our largest existing relationships, identifying and delivering new platform value that directly drives incremental ARR.
  • Technical Sales Support: Manage the technical portions of the sales cycle, including responding to RFPs/RFIs and coordinating with internal product and engineering teams.
  • Sales Engineering Leadership: Act as a force multiplier by mentoring, establishing and refining sales playbooks, and institutionalizing standards for demos and technical validation.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in Sales Engineering or Solutions Architecture, with a proven history of closing your company’s highest revenue generating deals and navigating global enterprise procurement.
  • Deep fluency in AI-driven software and modern data ecosystems.
  • Confidence to guide high-stakes technical engagements and lead executive reviews for C-suite stakeholders.
  • High-level systems design capability, understanding how Addepar integrates into massive, multi-vendor legacy architectures.
  • Understanding of global wealth management trends and positioning Addepar accordingly.
  • Intellectual curiosity and skill in connecting technical milestones to tangible business value and ARR growth.
  • Understanding of workflows embedded and the concept of integrating complex data sets.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; other certifications such as the CFA, CFP, and Masters Degree are a plus.

Travel

  • Flexibility to travel on short notice (10-20%).
