Role Description
The Sales Support Specialist plays a key role in supporting the sales team by addressing their administrative needs and ensuring smooth operations throughout the sales cycle. This individual will work closely with Account Executives to:
- Build quotes
- Manage pipeline data
- Provide remote client support
- Serve as a liaison between Sales, Product, and Marketing teams
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position reports to the Manager of Sales Support.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
- 1-3 years of work experience in a related field
- 1+ years of experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.com (Salesforce advanced training is a plus)
- Proven experience providing excellent customer service
- Strong ability to maintain accurate records and documentation of business information
- Ability to travel periodically (2-4 times a year for in-person meetings)
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with Google Suite
- Proficiency with Macintosh operating systems and basic keyboard commands
- 3+ years of professional work experience in the K-12 education space
- Interest in self-improvement through industry research, training, and experience to enhance product and market knowledge
