Role Description

Powur is looking for experienced solar sales professionals who know how to sell in one of our active markets. This is a 100% commission, independent contractor role — not a salaried position. If you're a proven closer who wants to keep more of what you earn, this is built for you.

• Sell residential solar in a Powur active state
• Set your own schedule and run your own pipeline
• Use Powur's AI-powered platform for proposals, site surveys, permitting, and project tracking
• Close deals virtually or in person — 100% remote-capable
• Build a team and unlock 6-level revenue-share overrides if you choose to scale

Qualifications

• Direct solar sales experience in at least one of Powur's active states
• Proven track record of closing solar deals in a Powur active state
• Knowledge of market regulations, utility territories, and local incentives
• Comfortable working as a 1099 independent contractor with no guaranteed income
• Desire to maximize take-home pay
• Ability to hit the ground running

Requirements

• Experience selling solar in at least one of Powur's active states: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Nevada, Texas, Virginia
• Not new to solar — this role is not suitable for those looking to learn solar fundamentals

Compensation

• All compensation is commission-based; no base pay
• Keep 70–80% of revenue on every deal
• High performing active reps can earn over $150,000.00 in their first 12 months
• Top performers earn $750K+ plus six-figure equity grants
• M1 milestone bonuses up to $2,500 per install milestone
• Equity stock options starting with your first install
