Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Sales Consultant to join our growing Business Development team. This role will focus on driving revenue through full-service consulting engagements, with an emphasis on primary market research, analytics solutions, and strategic advisory for pharmaceutical and life science clients.

  • Directly drive revenue growth through new business development and expansion within existing accounts.
  • Proactively prospect and engage pharmaceutical and life science clients to identify new opportunities across consulting, analytics, and primary market research services.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on commercial strategy and market insight needs.
  • Develop tailored proposals, statements of work, and go-to-market approaches aligned with client objectives.
  • Partner with internal consulting teams to scope, position, and deliver high-quality engagements.
  • Provide superior customer service by coordinating with Project Managers and Managing Consultants to ensure successful execution and client satisfaction.
  • Lead and participate in client meetings to understand evolving business needs and position appropriate solutions across MAC capabilities.
  • Analyze and synthesize client and market insights to inform business development strategy and engagement opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of business development or client-facing experience within healthcare, life sciences, or consulting.
  • Demonstrated success in selling consulting, analytics, or primary market research services.
  • Experience working within a healthcare professional services firm, market research firm, or life sciences organization preferred.
  • Strong understanding of primary market research methodologies (qualitative and quantitative) and analytics.
  • Proven ability to prospect, develop, and close business with pharmaceutical and life science clients.
  • Ability to develop insightful, compelling proposals and deliver strategic sales communications.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with consulting, analytics, and commercial teams.
  • Strong familiarity with drug development, commercialization, and marketing processes in the biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
