[Hiring] Sales Associate @Barkbus
Mar 29, 2025 - Barkbus is hiring a remote Sales Associate. 💸 Salary: $6-9 per hour. 📍Location: Latin America (LATAM), Philippines.
Role Description
We are looking for dedicated and motivated Sales Associates with strong inbound and outbound sales skills to join our early-stage team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in converting leads/customers into long-term recurring customers. This role will serve as the first human point of contact for many of our customers, so we are looking for someone who is excited to educate customers about Barkbus and drive customers through the sales funnel.
- Be highly responsive and consistently available during your assigned shifts, delivering a reliable and seamless customer experience.
- Quickly respond to and manage inbound customer leads through calls, texts, and other channels, following Barkbus' proven inbound sales playbook.
- Leverage your sales skills to understand each customer's unique needs and confidently communicate Barkbus' value proposition.
- Build rapport with pet parents by personalizing each interaction — learning about their dog’s needs, grooming preferences, and scheduling requirements.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments for our team of professional groomers, including handling any rescheduling or special requests with care.
- Manage day-to-day tasks using Marathon (training will be provided).
- Handle inbound calls and proactively make outbound follow-ups to resolve scheduling issues and customer inquiries.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to continuously improve our operations, systems, and processes, making life easier for both customers and groomers.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of work experience focused on inbound or outbound sales
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a friendly, customer-centric attitude.
- Proficiency in inbound sales, including the ability to build rapport, identify customer needs, and get customers booked!
- Ability to work independently and remotely, with a reliable internet connection and a well-functioning computer equipped with a suitable headset for phone and voice communication.
- Being open to different work schedules. Success at Barkbus requires us to be flexible on the work schedule so that we can constantly adapt and meet the demands of our customer intake volume.
- Clear and concise written communication.
Requirements
- Competitive Hourly Rate: $6-9 per hour, based on experience.
