Role Description

As a Sales Account Executive focused on closing deals, you will play a crucial role in converting qualified leads into long-term partners in the fintech and regtech sectors. Your primary responsibility will be to finalize sales and onboard new clients, particularly emphasizing our RegTech solutions.

  • Take ownership of the deal-closing process, securing commitments from potential clients in technology and software development.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to drive demand generation efforts and identify qualified leads.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with clients throughout the sales process, ensuring a seamless transition from prospect to customer.
  • Leverage effective B2B sales strategies and negotiation skills to address client objections, navigate deal complexities, and close agreements.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to streamline the closing process and promptly resolve client concerns.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our products and services, effectively communicating their value to prospective clients.
  • Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to senior management.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in IT sales with a strong track record of closing deals and driving revenue growth, ideally in the technology sector.
  • Proficient in B2B sales techniques and negotiation strategies, particularly in technology-focused industries.
  • Experience in corporate sales, with a deep understanding of client needs and challenges in software development.
  • Demonstrated ability to convert leads into loyal clients, providing exceptional customer service and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and other sales tools to manage pipelines, track activities, and optimize performance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas and solutions clearly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a closer in the technology or regtech sector, with a history of exceeding sales targets.
  • Familiarity with software development processes and industry standards to better understand client requirements.
  • Ability to manage sales cycles of 3-9 months, adept at navigating complex deal structures and decision-making processes.
  • Understanding of reseller or system integration channels in cybersecurity or identity management, providing insights into potential revenue streams.
