Role Description

As the Retail Account Sales Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Manage a set of diverse customers in retail and online
• Influence a cross-functional team of Supply Chain, Analytics, Shopper, Category Development, Brokers, and Marketing
• Manage all sales forecasts and monthly goals
• Manage promotional and store execution budgets
• Manage Line Reviews and Promotional Strategies and all internal/external customer-focused meetings
• Develop annual strategic account plans (e.g., vision, strategy, key objectives, success metrics, financial forecasts) and provide inputs for integrated business planning
• Calling on buyer to executive level associates to develop industry relationships in order to create contracts and positions for 3M’s products
• Lead Customer Annual Operating Plans / Joint Business Plans

This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
• Seven (7) years of experience in Key Account Sales for Regional and National Chain Accounts in the consumer/retail business in a private, public, government or military environment
• Current, valid Driver’s License

• Experience in leading national retail key account business
• Knowledge of how to work with the customer and dealer centric tools
• Demonstrated experience of effective negotiation skills and strategic planning
• Experience with Analytics and Supply Chain preferred
