[Hiring] Regional Sales Director, Corporate Services-Retention, West @Compass Group

Role Description

As a key driver in our overall organic growth, retention is a top priority of our organization. We are seeking an experienced sales and/or retention specialist to lead Compass Group’s account retention efforts through strategic engagement with clients, operators, and field support.

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Regional Sales Director - Retention will be responsible for retention and rebid efforts in our Corporate Services division with a primary focus on delivering winning proposals and solutions. This position is remote with an expectation of up to 50% travel to meet clients and retain business.

Responsibilities:

• Work with existing clients and operators to objectively assess current operations and identify areas of opportunity leading to successful retention of our most critical contracts.
• Identify necessary support resources to bring new and ongoing innovation to our current clients.
• Lead the rebid strategy sessions to include cross-functional teams to develop solutions that resonate with our existing clients and are seen as value add.
• Work closely with our creative team and resources to develop custom sales proposals and meet RFP requirements.
• Communicate effectively across the organization both horizontally and vertically.
• Execution of the Compass Sales Process.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience in new business development, retention, or high-level account management role; previous experience within a similar type industry preferred.
• A track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas and targets over time.
• Experience developing winning sales proposals and responding to complex RFPs.
• Strong computer skills and ability to work with CRM database management system.
• Ability to represent the organization at a variety of industry and non-industry events.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and establish priorities; strong time management skills.
• High energy, positive attitude, and excellent communication/presentation skills.
• Ability to travel extensively throughout assigned territory and occasionally outside of territory.
• Team player who wants to be part of and contribute to the success of a top-caliber sales organization.
