Role Description

This role involves leading sales efforts in the United States and Canada for CARTO, a leading Location Intelligence platform. The Enterprise Sales Leader will drive sales excellence, enhance team performance, and build strong customer relationships.

  • Provide strategic leadership to your sales team, establishing clear, measurable goals aligned with company objectives.
  • Lead the execution of robust pipeline generation strategies to ensure optimal pipeline health.
  • Champion adherence to CARTO’s qualification framework (ICEP) for pipeline management.
  • Mentor and coach your team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Cultivate a high-performance mindset, setting clear KPIs and inspiring your team.
  • Own and manage accurate sales forecasts, aligning projections with company revenue targets.
  • Enforce adherence to CARTO’s MEDDICC sales playbook for consistency in the sales process.
  • Collaborate with the Partnerships team to foster relationships with key strategic partners.
  • Leverage your existing network to deepen relationships with top customers and prospects.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Enterprise Sales Experience with a proven track record in leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Expertise in Geoanalytics & Location Intelligence technologies.
  • Demonstrated success in selling complex SaaS solutions to large organizations.
  • Deep familiarity with MEDDICC and disciplined approach to pipeline management.
  • Exceptional leadership and coaching skills with a passion for developing sales talent.
  • Ability to craft and execute sales strategies with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong data-driven mindset with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
